Regional Marketing Specialist

Law firm seeks a Regional Marketing Specialist. This position may be based out of San Francisco or Century City. Selected candidate will support the Regional Marketing Manager and will develop, plan, implement and manage new business and cross-marketing initiatives, and track metrics; conduct qualitative business research and summarize results with team and practice groups; identify business development and branding opportunities including sponsorships, conferences, directory rankings and other awards, memberships, and public relations opportunities. The Regional Marketing Specialist will assist with full cycle of all (internal and external) events and speaking engagements, including planning, scheduling, creation of marketing materials, coordination, set up and take down; monitoring for opportunities; tracking of ROI, RSVPs, feedback, and lead generation.
Candidate will assist in development and distribution of all marketing collateral, including brochures, advertisements, emails, attorney bios, and practice group descriptions; manage flow of information to technology teams; coach attorneys on best practices for marketing content and plans for business development; write responses to RFPs, develop pitch material, track responses, and comply with budgets and procedures. The Regional Marketing Specialist will also assist with onboarding of lateral attorneys at all levels. The hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with availability for travel and overtime for events.
A bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required; JDs are encouraged to apply. Qualified candidates must have strong MS Office skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; CRM database, website database, intranet and mass email distribution software, and thorough understanding of marketing concepts are essential. The Marketing Specialist must have outstanding written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills. Candidate must possess the ability to work well with staff, attorneys, and clients; and effectively plan, implement, manage, and track initiatives, meeting deadlines.
