Position:Â Litigation SecretaryÂ
Location:Â Chicago, IL (Onsite)
Pay: $80,000 to $104,000 annuallyÂ
Experience: 3+ years of experience providing litigation support to multiple attorneys.Â
Education:Â Must have a high school diploma or GED; Associate's/ Bachelor's degree, preferred.Â
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Â
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (40-hour week)Â
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Litigation Secretary to join our dynamic law firm client!  Â
Job Description:Â Â Â
- Preparing complex legal documents for filing/eFiling in State and Federal courts; Â
- Document production and proofreading/editing correspondence, interaction/communication with clients, courts, and attorneys.Â
- Providing administrative assistance with file management, coordinating multiple calendars/appointments, arranging travel, and preparing expense reimbursements and itineraries.Â
Position Requirements:Â Â Â
- In-depth knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), commonly used DMS (iManage preferred), and attorney timekeeping systems (Coyote preferred).Â
- Extensive experience with eFiling and court rules and civil procedures in State and Federal jurisdictions. Â
- Transactional law and administrative hearing knowledge are a plus.
- Experience with JuraLaw (legal calendaring) strongly preferred. Â
- Candidate will be proactive, highly responsible, and accountable.Â
