Senior Compensation Analyst
Downtown Los Angeles, CA
Large international law firm seeks a Senior Compensation Analyst with 5 years of human resources experience (law firm preferred), including 4 years of compensation and equity analysis. Selected candidate will work collaboratively to design, analyze, manage, and modify compensation policies, ensuring compliance with regulations domestically and internationally. The Senior Compensation Analyst will conduct surveys and evaluate salary statistics so that the firm remains competitive to attract and retain talent. Position also creates and updates job descriptions; prepares and manages budgets; works with committees and firm administration to manage compensation processes, including communications and systems; collaborates on associate, staff, and paralegal pay and bonuses; consults with hiring managers and recruiters on new hire pay, signing bonuses, and retention incentives. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
A bachelor’s degree and a compensation certification (CCP) are preferred. The Senior Compensation Analyst must have MS Office advanced features skills, and be proficient with performance and compensation applications. This position requires outstanding project management, data and statistical analysis; and exceptional ability to evaluate job duties and compensation at the organizational structure and individual levels. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of human resources, labor laws, and talent management philosophies. The Senior Compensation Analyst will travel as required.
