Position: Senior Content and Social Media Coordinator 

Location: Remote (must reside in California and local to Downtown LA, Riverside, San Diego, Irvine, or Walnut Creek for occasional office meetings/events) 

Pay: $65,000 to $95,000 annually 

Experience: 3+ years of experience in content creation, social media management, or a related role, preferably within a professional services environment to play a pivotal role in elevating firm brand and thought leadership reporting to the Senior Marketing Communications Manager. 

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. 

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire  

Schedule: Day Shift, 8:30am to 5:00pm 

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Senior Content and Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic law firm client!    

Job Description:   
  • Creating and implementing engaging content across various platforms (social media, web, print). 
  • Conduct content creation, social media management and project coordination working closely with attorneys and other stakeholders to gather information and develop content ideas which aligns with the firm brand, practice objectives, and industry trends.   

Content Creation and Management (45%) 
  • Marketing Collateral Development: Draft and edit content for marketing materials (flyers, ads, practice area pages, brochures, web content), ensuring consistency in brand messaging, tone and established writing style guidelines. 
  • Event Promotion: Create promotional content for firm events, webinars, and conferences including email invitations, web posts, print materials. 
  • Awards & Rankings: Manage the awards and rankings process, including monitoring deadlines, and drafting or overseeing submissions. 

Social Media (30%) 
  • Concept and Content Creation: Draft engaging content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram), maintaining a consistent voice and brand presence; Coordinate/maintain content calendar with scheduled posts, campaigns, and firm announcements; Collaborate with graphic designer to ensure social media visuals align with drafted content. 
  • Community Engagement Management: Monitor social media channels, share partner organization posts, respond to comments/messages, and engage with followers to foster a strong online community; Distribute posted content and links to attorneys and colleagues in other departments to encourage further sharing of firm news, attorney community involvement, awards, events, articles. 
  • Performance Analysis: Track/analyze social media metrics and trends, providing reports and insights to optimize content strategies and improve engagements. 

Project Management (25%) 
  • Coordination and Timelines: Manage content-related projects using tools like Asana, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and align with overall marketing objectives. 
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing colleagues, sub teams within marketing and professionals in other departments to gather information necessary for content development and to ensure that all marketing materials meet firm standards. 
  • Quality Control: Oversee quality/consistency of all marketing outputs, ensuring content is accurate, on-brand, and meets high standards of excellence. 

Position Requirements:     
  • Demonstrated track record of successful social media campaigns and content development. 
  • Experience with marketing platforms such as HubSpot is advantageous.  
  • Skilled in managing/growing social media presence. 
  • Strong writing/editing skills, with mastery of AP Style. 
  • Attention to detail and a passion for social media are essential. 
  • Detail-oriented, with a strong emphasis on quality control. 
  • Organized and efficient in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines. 
  • Clear and concise communicator, comfortable collaborating across teams.
