Job Description

Position: Senior Litigation Paralegal

Location: Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid, 4 days/week onsite)

Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 annually

Experience: 5+ years of experience to support to attorneys throughout the litigation process.

Education: Paralegal certificate is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic law firm client!

Job Description:

Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by conducting thorough legal research (through LexisNexis and Westlaw) and document review.
Draft legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests).
Manage case files using document management systems such as NetDocs and Clio.
Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information.
Organize/maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
Coordinate project management duties related to litigation timelines and deadlines.
Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.

Position Requirements:

Knowledge of employment law and workers compensation law including California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) is highly desirable.
Strong writing skills with attention to detail for effective communication of legal concepts.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
