Position:Â Senior Litigation ParalegalÂ
Location:Â Woodland Hills, CA (Hybrid, 4 days/week onsite)Â
Pay: $85,000 to $95,000 annuallyÂ
Experience:Â 5+ years of experience to support to attorneys throughout the litigation process.Â
Education: Paralegal certificate is required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.Â
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire Â
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pmÂ
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join our dynamic law firm client!  Â
Job Description:Â Â Â
- Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and depositions by conducting thorough legal research (through LexisNexis and Westlaw) and document review.Â
- Draft legal documents (pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests).Â
- Manage case files using document management systems such as NetDocs and Clio.Â
- Conduct interviews with clients and witnesses to gather pertinent information.Â
- Organize/maintain case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.Â
- Coordinate project management duties related to litigation timelines and deadlines.Â
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel in a professional manner while maintaining confidentiality.Â
Position Requirements:Â Â Â
- Knowledge of employment law and workers compensation law including California Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) is highly desirable. Â
- Strong writing skills with attention to detail for effective communication of legal concepts.Â
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.Â
