Job Description
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Senior Operations Manager with 5 years of experience in legal operations management to ensure firm trial support teams are well supported with trial site project management including availability to trial technology needs and imaging solutions, firm copy services, onsite facilities management, and ensuring necessary office supplies, peripherals and furniture are available. Position will work with the Director of Operations and trial team leaders to establish best practice strategies, anticipate challenges, plan for changing needs, and seek ways to best serve clients and streamline processes within the Support Center Team.
Responsibilities include:
Hours are 9am-5pm (overtime and travel required)
Responsibilities include:
- Continually evaluate and add expertise and service offerings to the Support Center to meet attorney/user changing needs.
- Onsite Support Team oversight and maintain consistent knowledge of all active and upcoming case calendar and trial needs.
- Develop the annual staffing plan and budget for the Support Center teams and manage to meet approved budgets.
- Provide timely feedback and training to team leader, lawyers and staff on the services provided from the Support Center teams.
- Monitor usage and create strategies to ensure confidence in Support Center and consistent use by firm.
- Oversee the supply ordering processes and monitor budget compliance.
- Collaborate with other groups across the firm to execute projects using cost efficient mix of people, process, and technology.
- Maintain knowledge of AI, workflow, and automation technology.
- Fleet and Device Management including security requirements.
- Network Integration collaboration
- Offsite Resource Coordination
- Promote awareness and adoption of existing and new technologies, resources, and processes.
- Create agile staffing strategies including creating best practices to prioritize projects and appropriately allocate resources.

Job Requirements
A bachelor’s degree is preferred, and commensurate work experience is required. Strong management skills to successfully implement new technologies and processes. Diplomacy skills to build consensus and work effectively across departments, offices, global teams, and lawyers at all seniority levels. A strong sense of accountability, comfort with ambiguity and changing priorities, and ability to take ownership of projects and tasks. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach to work, projects, interactions, and service. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders. Demonstrated experience developing and implementing policies and procedures related to legal support services. Proficiency with project management software, strong knowledge of workflow management software. Ability to act as a trusted, strategic advisor to leadership. An ability to build rapport and strong working relationships with business stakeholders at all levels. Confident approach, the ability to challenge and influence the status quo when required, and effectively manage business expectations. An ability to influence, negotiate and gain consensus where conflicting viewpoints may exist.
