- Develop and maintain pricing models for competitive, profitable pricing strategies.
- Analyze historical pricing data and profitability metrics to identify trends and opportunities.
- Create alternative pricing structures, including fixed fees, retainers, volume discounts, and success-based pricing.
- Prepare detailed pricing proposals for client request for proposals (RFPs), ensuring alignment with firm objectives.
- Manage client billing rates, including data entry, rate approvals, and complex billing arrangements in 3E.
- Generate and analyze reports for rate increases, client-specific pricing, and ad hoc requests.
- Support data integration efforts with the Finance Systems team, including testing and issue resolution.
- Conduct scenario analysis and financial impact assessments to support decision-making.
- Use advanced data analytics tools to automate and improve pricing processes.
- Collaborate on annual rate increase planning and execution.
- Provide ongoing support to the pricing department.
Position Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience with pricing software and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Elite 3E experience preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex data to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with legal industry pricing models is a plus.
