- Analyze data provided by the Finance and Accounting group and prepare tax schedules for the preparation of the U.S. federal and state partnership income tax returns, business tax returns, sales and use tax returns, and international tax compliance requirements.
- Prepare partnership and nonresident partner estimated tax calculations, and quarterly partner income tax projections; maintain partner composite tax elections and related records.
- Prepare and review U.S. and international partner withholding tax calculations.
- Develop applicable general ledger (G/L) analysis and perform quality assurance procedures; monitor current and proposed changes in tax laws and regulations.
- Reconcile G/L accounts; and assist in development and implementation of tax accounting methodology and process.
Position Requirements:
- A background from the Big 4 or a law firm with partnership tax experience preferred.
- Must have ability to perform research on tax laws and regulations for various jurisdictions and different types of tax.
- Candidate will have exposure to international, VAT/GST, business, property, sales/use, and excise taxation in addition to income tax.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines are needed.
