Job Description
Position: Endpoint Engineer
Location: Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County, San Francisco, CA (Hybrid, 2 days/week onsite)
Pay: $110,000 to $140,000 annually (Exempt)
Experience: 3+ years of experience to design and develop integrated business applications and install packages, develop standard desktop images, troubleshoot and resolve system and application issues, and provide escalated technology troubleshooting and support for the technology department and firm personnel.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience required.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (Occasional travel to other offices may be required)

Job Description:
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Desktop System and application deployments, acting as escalation point for the technology services team and service desk.
- Create application install packages for Intune and Configuration Manager.
- Test integrated applications against the Firm standard image, software compatibility, and related utilities, and hardware in the production environment.
- Lead the migration of desktop support services from SCCM to Microsoft Intune, including transitioning group policy management to Intune as part of initial project responsibilities.
- Automate software application deployments, manage enterprise-wide patching (desktops, laptops, Citrix), and develop/maintain Firm desktop images for all standard PC models.
- Document and maintain a standard software installation library, including preparation and deployment of application updates for Firm systems.
- Research, evaluate, and recommend software and hardware products to maintain a stable and consistent end-user environment.
- Participate in the assessment and review of products or program alternatives to make recommendations to management.
- Investigate system and application problems to identify the root causes, determine resolutions and execute corrective actions.
- Serve as a technical project lead to provide tasks and technical leadership, executing plans and implementing technical solutions to refresh supported systems.
- Interface directly with vendors and other members of IT to solve complex or unique issues.
- Stay abreast of new and existing Firm applications functionalities.
- Administer and manage Microsoft Group Policy across the organization.
- Oversee Microsoft Configuration Manager operations, including Intune, image deployment (Citrix/VDI), and application packaging.
- Manage information security for end points (computers and mobile devices), including hardware and software security patching, Applocker rules, Disk Encryption and keys, LAPS, Malware Protection, and Mobile Device Management (Intune).
Position Requirements:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and MS Office.
- Strong software packaging expertise (MSI, MST, App-V, and related tools).
- Proficiency with Configuration Manager (version 2409 or higher) and Microsoft Intune for software deployment and device management.
- Working knowledge of Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, virtualization technologies, and VDI management.
- Solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, Windows Registry, DLL conflicts, network topologies, and remote support tools.
- Experience with standard imaging tools (Altiris Deployment, MDT, and Symantec Ghost).
- Excellent communication skills; able to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask and prioritize tasks independently.
- Demonstrates discretion and good judgment, especially when handling sensitive or confidential Firm data.
- Prior legal industry experience is preferred.
- Microsoft Certification preferred.
