Position: Temporary Talent Specialist 

Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (onsite Monday, Thursday and potential for one flex day for onsite interviews) 

Pay: $38 to $45 per hour 

Experience: 2+ years experience to assist with law firm staff-level recruiting efforts. 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. 

Type: Full-time; Temporary 

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm 

Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Temporary Talent Specialist to join our dynamic law firm client!    

Job Description:   
  • Follow the recruiting process for professional legal talent. 
  • Follow recruiting practices and processes to be compliant with all laws and regulations.
  • Consult on all facets of the hiring process to enable the best outcome including recruiting strategy, determining selection criteria, interview structure and topics, timing of hiring, compensation within given ranges, negotiation of offers and other important details around the start of employment. 
  • Partner with outside agencies and source candidates for open positions to ensure a consistent pipeline of candidates. 
  • Field and review candidates for eligibility and skill matches including reviewing submitted applications for a match against the job description. 
  • Facilitate candidate review with direct supervisor including scheduling and interview preparation for the interviewer and interviewee. 
  • Schedule interviews timely and accurately (by phone, virtual and in-person).  
  • Track all activity in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). 
  • Interact with candidates professionally to maximize the potential of hiring an excellent candidate including describing positions and the firm, answering candidate inquiries, process logistical scheduling, and managing the overall candidate experience. 
  • Participate in interviews and provide valuable insight from an outside perspective for hiring managers.  
  • Use and navigate the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and data to align with hiring process and to facilitate accurate data. 
  • Adhere to agency Master Service Agreements (MSA) to ensure accurate charges as well as adherence to contract terms. 

Position Requirements:     
  • Must possess knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), Workday, and Document Management System.  
  • Ability to present the firm to potential candidates so they understand the culture and the attractiveness of the firm.  
  • Ability to communicate appropriately and effectively to build strong relationships with hiring managers and operate as a trusted advisor to individuals at all levels of the organization. 
  • Must be highly organized and able to track a high level of activity accurately.  
  • Must have knowledge of recruiting best practices, procedures, relevant laws and regulations, general employment laws and human resources best practices.  
  • Ability to produce accurate and timely work independently with little supervision.
