Job Description
Law firm seeks a Legal Secretary with 2 years of litigation experience (knowledge of trust, estate and tax matters preferred) to support 3-4 Attorneys in the Trusts and Estates and Tax practice groups. Selected candidate will create, edit, and proofread legal documents (estate plans and trust administration documents) and correspondence; conduct conflicts checks; prepare waivers and client engagement letters; support Attorneys with eFiling in probate court; maintain files in document management system; distribute packages to taxing authorities; handle time and expense entry; distribute mail; manage Attorney calendar including scheduling meetings; and notarize documents.
Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Job Requirements
A bachelors degree is preferred. Knowledge of litigation, trusts and estates, and tax terminology and procedures is preferred. Litigation Secretary will be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and Outlook) and type 65 wpm. Candidate will be an active California Notary, or willing to obtain Notary Commission at firm expense.
