Trust and Estate Secretary
Century City, CA
Los Angeles law firm seeks a Trusts and Estates Secretary to provide support to 4 attorneys. Candidates with transactional experience are encouraged to apply. The Corporate Legal Secretary will assist attorneys with conflicts checks, waivers, and client engagement letters; create, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence; time and expense entry; mail distribution; meeting scheduling and calendar maintenance; and document notarization. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
A bachelor’s degree is required. The qualified Trust and Estates Secretary must have 2 years of experience, including 1 year in transactional or trusts and estates practice. Preferred candidate will have estate planning, probate, tax, and trust administration knowledge and experience. Secretary must have Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint proficiency, typing of 65 wpm, and a notary commission (or willingness to be certified). Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
