Word Processing Lead Coordinator

Law firm seeks a Document Support Coordinator with 7 years of experience to manage workflow in the Word Processing Center. Selected Document Support Coordinator will manage intake; negotiate completion deadlines, ensure quality of work products, and provide leadership and expert-level support to Word Processors. This is a hands-on position. Responsibilities include creating and revising documents (correspondence, pleadings, discovery, discovery shells, motions, and reports), complex forms, and graphics in multiple software applications; creating and maintaining master templates; proofreading completed work; assigning workflow activities and attorney communication; overseeing, directing, and coaching department staff; troubleshooting and implementing software application solutions; and providing on-site training for staff and attorneys. The hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Salary is up to $80,000
The qualified Word Processing Lead will have a high school diploma (a college degree is preferred). MS Office 2016 advanced features skills including styles, and TOA and TOC are essential. Expert level skills in WorkSite/FileSite/iManage (or similar DMS), Best Authority, OmniPage Pro, Nuance Power PDF, Workshare Compare (DeltaView) or similar, WordPerfect, Express Scribe, and knowledge of correct forms of citation (Harvard Bluebook) are required The Document Support Coordinator must have excellent writing and proofreading skills. Proficiency in iCreate templates and iHyperstyles, and an MOUS certification are preferred.
