Job Description
Position: Word Processor
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid - 2 days onsite, 3 days remote with a set schedule, firm option to change in the future)
Pay: $77,000 to $85,000 annually
Experience: 5+ years of experience to provide firmwide word processing support services to 150+ attorneys as part of a team of specialists.
Education: A high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm
Kent Daniels & Associates is seeking a Word Processor to join our dynamic law firm client!
Job Description:
- Creating, revising, and formatting complex legal documents (transactional and litigation); using Microsoft Office (including advanced functions TOA, TOC, styles).
- Transcription duties; assisting with general helpdesk inquiries; creating advanced-level PowerPoint slide presentations.
- Assisting with corrupt documents and macro creation.
- Once the Specialist is up to speed and has shadowed the firm Trainer, training duties will be added to the position.
- Approximately 25-30 percent of the duties will include onboarding training as well as group training needs (projects, and programming, and will fluctuate depending upon firm needs and workflow).
Position Requirements:
- Must be an MS Office advanced user and have strong. communication skills to interact with all user levels.
- Experience with CCC Macros and Best Authority.
- Ability to type 75+ wpm, an eye for detail, and strong proofreading skills, are required. Firm uses NetDocuments.
